Giving Tuesday - 2019
I realize i don’t want to be a miser
confer with sly you’ll be the wiser
Young blood is the lovin’ upriser
how come everybody wanna keep it like the kaiser
Give it ‘way, give it ‘way, give it ‘way now
Give it ‘way, give it ‘way, give it ‘way now
Give it ‘way, give it ‘way, give it ‘way now
I can’t tell if I’m a kingpin or a pauper
In the spirit of Giving Tuesday, Hamilton Wealth donated $5,000 to the LA Food Bank My wife Kelly and I visited the LA Food Bank earlier this year and walked away with mixed emotions. We were distraught by how many hungry kids live in our beloved (adopted) city. But we were also in awe of what the LA Food Bank accomplishes:
feed 300,000 people a month
distribute more than 1.5 million pounds of food each week
will distribute 85 million pounds of food this year, 70 million meals
97% of all revenue goes directly to food programs
It is quite the operation and I encourage anyone to visit. For Giving Tuesday, donations are being matched. Our $5K donation will result in $10,000 going to feed those in our community that are food insecure. The LA Food Bank will turn $10K into 40,000 meals!
We recognize that your loyalty allows us to be responsible global citizens—we are truly grateful for your support.
Thank you!
